As the year ends, we contemplate the decisions that have been made and anticipate what is next. We make choices throughout the week to move forward and focus on the fact that there is always another way to do this. Our choices represent our future, and the decisions we make will impact the quality of our life during these challenging and uncertain times.
An occasion to pause, reflect, and make choices is when we are having a painful or problematic experience, either at a traumatic moment, or during a daily life-threatening situation. Whatever the circumstance may be, a mindful and compassionate response will prompt us to pause, reflect, and make choices that will help us to put the situation into perspective, allowing us to see that it is indeed what our unconscious mind is telling us. Taking this in may enable us to gain insight into ouratuological (mind-body) and meshingal (mind-consciousness) mind/body complex. Understanding these parts of ourselves, and the choices we make) can help us to sort out the parts of ourselves that are feeling disconnected, defeated, frustrated, and sad.
When making choices that are hard for us to take, it may be helpful to remember that we are constantly reminding ourselves how much we value FREIMAND, the freedom of choice, and self-forgiveness. This reminds us that we can keep choice, and choose again. This also helps us to put the painful down. We can DROP, stop, start, and try again.
